Rare hatching eggs from the traditional Serama chicken breed, known for being the tiniest chicken in the world. Serama originated in Malaysia and typically range between 6-10 inches in height. They are entertaining, friendly and very social. Their eggs are consumed just as any other chickens eggs would be, but you may need 2-3 to account for the size of a standard hens egg. Serama do wonderfully in most climates in the US, but may need some heat management in the coldest of climates. We find that here in the mountains of Western NC, we choose to have heat available to them at night from December to March.
