The Chetniks were one of the most prolific paramilitaries in the Croatian Homeland War, most active in 1991 and early 1992 in battles like the Battle of Vukovar and Battle of Dubrovnik. This specific example came from a collector friend in Croatia who acquired it from a Croatian Homeland War (Croatian War of Independence) veteran after the war. He enlisted in early 1991 with the Croatian Special Police (SJP) and continued fighting for the duration of the war, also participating in operation Storm ‘95.
