The panel has 20 touch keys, 8-character alpha-numeric displays, a gooseneck microphone, a headset connector, and a built-in speaker. Operation The 20 dual-action lever keys can be programmed to call another control panel, listen to and call an outside subscriber, receive and transmit on a radio system, answer and make phone calls, or as a Quick Response (QRS) key used to reply to callers if a dedicated key is not programmed. The touchscreen panel features high-resolution 2.8” QVGA (320x240) color tech screens with intuitive operations similar to that of smartphones and tablets. The touchscreen design provides independent gain control for each channel, page shift and local assign functionality. Auto replay is also incorporated with user configurable voice capture and replay durations. The intuitive screen layout shows status information, Talk/Listen keys are color coded for easy identification, and telephony mode allows simple dialling and fast access to pre-stored numbers. The “cut” switch is software programmable to act as either loudspeaker and/or microphone cut, or as a changeover to the headset.
