Description This is a 2x18650 Li-Ion conversion for popular Nerf Blasters which use 6D cells in series. These adapters when used with (2) 18650 Li-Ion cells in series or 2S configuration will replace 6 D-cells and provide an expected voltage of between 7.4 to 8.4v depending on the state of charge. The conversion kit consists of: Qty (2) 18650-2D adapters Qty (2) Dummy adapters*No 18650 batteries, D-Cell alkalines or the Blaster pictured are included in the conversion kit Instructions for Use Remove the alkaline 6 D-cells in your Blaster and properly dispose of them properlyRemove the 2 screws securing the cover plate to the battery compartmentUsing a pair of pliers & a twisting motion, remove the 4 yellow cell dividers in the compartmentEnsure your (2) 18650 Li-Ion batteries are fully charge and install them into the 2 adapters with the positive terminal contacting the brass screw inside the adapter Install 1 dummy adapter and 1 18650 adapter in each half of the battery compartment. Ensure the negative terminals of the cells are contacting the spring terminals of the Blaster. The dummy adapter has no orientation Press the revving trigger to ensure proper contact. If no revving is achieved, check the contacts of the battery between themselves and the Blaster. Reinstall the cover.Disclaimer: As mentioned, the output of (2) 18650 batteries this kit is design for is 7.4-8.4 volts. This is a safe limit to operate you Blaster without risk of burning out the motor. When your 18650 battery requires charging, it must be removed from the adapters. As this is a 3D printed part, there may be some slight blemishes due to the printing process. This in no way weakens or affects the functionality of the adapter. Also, the color may vary between the black (as depicted in photos) or silver due to availability. If you have a specific preference between the two colors please let me know as I can accommodate, although it may take additional time. The positive contact of the adapter is solid brass and the negative contact is the actual battery protruding 0.5" from the back of the adapter.
