This is a 3D printed replica of the Abraham Lincoln life mask on display at the Smithsonian. It was created from a 3D scan of the actual artifact. The original was created by Clark Mills in February 1865. This is a life mask, not a death mask. Abraham Lincoln was assassinated shortly after the life mask was created. This is a replica printed with a 3D printer using PLA plastic. It has been scaled down from the original size. It measures about 6.5" long and 3.5" tall. Due to the 3D printing process the item will have flaws such as layer lines, rough spots and light stringing. It could be sanded and painted for a different finish.
