Leitz Wetzlar camera lucida (Zeichenapparat), an early microscope drawing attachment used to project the specimen image onto a drawing surface for tracing and documentation. This example appears to date to the early 20th century (circa 1920–1925) based on markings, construction, and case style. Mechanisms move smoothly and hold position. Optical surfaces appear intact but show age-related wear. Case shows cosmetic wear, scuffs, and handwritten labeling consistent with age. It is good condition considering it’s age.
