This listing is for a 1hp motor connected to a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive), especially popular for use on knife making belt grinders. PLUG & PLAY FOR A REGULAR HOUSEHOLD SOCKET. The VFD is the best selling KBAC-24D. The motor is TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) which is the only choice for harsh grinding environments (at least one rip-off on Ebay is selling a so-called knife grinder, with an OPEN motor!!!); It has a steel foot plate for mounting it to a bench & the face is 56C. Motor shaft is 5/8" diameter.
