This is an aftermarket carrier sheet table (pair of supports) for use with the Graphtec CE6000-40 and CE6000-60 plotters. The supports clip onto the plotter's front media guides to support a carrier sheet. Carrier sheet purpose:The plotter is intended to be used on material that has a backing sheet such as adhesive vinyl. The backing sheet keeps the plotters cutting blade from cutting or otherwise degrading the plotter's Teflon cutting strip. A carrier sheet also keeps the cutting blade off the cutting strip - this is needed when cutting completely through material such as cutting card stock for small boxes. When cutting completely through material, you would need more frequent and costly replacement of the cutting strip if you don't use a carrier sheet to protect the cutting strip.. The carrier sheet table supports keep the carrier sheet flat, providing much better cutting results when using an optional carrier sheet. The supports keep the carrier sheet from bending under its own weight. Our carrier sheet table accessories are 3D printed from PLA and clip on to the front of the plotter in the existing cutting channel recesses.
