The strap kit is intended to give the user a looped attached end and leaving the other with a buckle for donning and doffing the rig. I have found this to work well if using a Spiritus chest rig with an Expander Wing (as pictured) as the Expander Wing eliminates the use of a buckle. The strap kit comes with a buckle if wanting to switch to a buckle. Made in USA **I can not guarantee this will work with other chest rigs. So far I can confirm it’ll work with: Spiritus Systems Mk4, MkV
