You will need to have your own thermal paste.Dell uses thermal glue/putty to fill a gap between the gpu and heatsink shown in the first picture above. This is a poor quality thermal solution and if you open your card it will leave it unusable. Because of the gap the thermal putty/glue had filled just thermal paste will not make good solution and over time will cause the gpu to overheat, see pictures above. Use this shim mod to lower your temps 15%+ and keep gpu failure from happening.
