This battery holder, being the newer type, has an ANGLED top that goes along with the shape of the preamp to mount to the curved part of the side of an acoustic guitar. NOTE: This WILL NOT FIT the older, flat top type of battery holder that the EQ45/EQ245 used to use, as the design of the preamp has changed, and apparently the old type with the flat top are not available anywhere any longer, as I have checked every supplier I deal with trying to find them.
