The pitch control has an intentionally wide range — from very fast playback down to extremely slow speeds where the motor begins to starve and create unstable, degraded textures. This produces warble, dropouts, and collapsing tones that are difficult to achieve with standard recorders. Unit is fully functional and tested. All stock functions of the recorder remain. Direct input is possible through the mono 3.5mm mic jack.
