Merchandise Description This ebay auction is for one (1) Strattec brand GM ignition lock cylinder and a single door lock cylinder with 2 GM logo keys. These locks are already assembled...just as pictured and described. Same key fits both locks. The keys are transponder electronic keys and must be programmed at the vehicle to the vehicle's computer. In most situations you can do this yourself...see programming instructions below. Door lock does NOT come with pawl/lever that goes on the back of the lock cylinder...it must be swapped from old to new. We may have the pawl if it is needed...extra charge of 11.00 if shipped with lock set.Installing this ignition lock requires programming of the electronic transponder keys. Originate New Key: When zero working keys exist (all keys lost). 1. Insert new working key into ignition cylinder and turn it to the ON (RUN) position. The theft light on the dash will illuminate and stay on for ten minutes. 2. When the theft light goes out, repeat the same procedure as in step #1, two more times. 3. When the theft light goes out, the new key has been programmed. To program a second key (follow-up on above procedure). 1. Within 20 seconds of completing the last step for the first key, insert a second key and turn to the ON position. When the light goes out, the new key is programmed.
