The slightly crowned face leaves a great finish on your work, while the pein makes spreading metal a breeze. The hammer is forged from a solid piece of new 1045 carbon iron and hardened/tempered accordingly. The hand-carved handle is 12 inches of sheesham with your choice of a natural or flame licked finish. Hammers with a natural finish will have a clean metal look to them, while flame licked will have the temper colors left on the head. If you prefer a different combination then just send me a message and I will make it happen. Custom handle lengths and pein dimensions are available upon request. This will increase the price depending on the details specified in the custom order. The hammer will arrive with the faces dressed and ready to go to work. Please note that I will include a steel wedge with the hammer. Wood can shrink and swell over time especially when being shipped around the country and exposed to various environments. The wedge can be installed if you need to tighten the head up to the handle.
