Hello and welcome to my sale for this very handy tool, a blacksmiths flatter. I acquired this at an old Wheelwrights workshop in Ayrshire. The wrights second name was Frew. The head is approximately 65mm squared although one way is closer to 62mm. You can see that it does have some deformation at one corner though it’s so heavy and large that I think it will still work as intended. Without that deformation, I’d be asking closer to £60.
