Contents Description Gingerbread Snap'd, as its name implies, is a Gingerbread flavor of Mountain Dew. It's similar to the architecture and style of the two holiday Dew flavors, Holiday Brew and Merry Mash-Up, though in the inspiration of the holiday spirit. Tagline Its tagline is "DEW with a Blast of Artificial Gingerbread Flavor". History On August 4th, 2020, on the Dew Drinker Discord, information got first leaked by an anonymous individual showing upcoming plans for 2021 with many flavors and new brands alike. All of these leaks are as follows: Major Melon, alongside its Zero Sugar variant, Rise Energy, Baja Blast alongside two flavors, Baja Flash and Baja Punch, DEW-S-A, Riddler's Brew , Gingerbread Snap'd, and a re-release of Pepsi Blue. On October 8th, 2020, a leaked internal reel video surfaced, showing upcoming plans for the Mountain Dew brand for 2021. This video re-affirmed much of the previously leaked information for 2021. From this, the video shows new seasonal flavors, such as Baja Flash, Baja Punch, Riddler's Brew, Snap'd, and an addition of a permanent flavor, Major Melon. On various dates of 2021, there are some photographs of Snap'd on certain websites across the internet and from the posts of certain people that got ahold of sample bottles. They are obtaining it through PepsiCo employees and similar occurrences such as advertising for the flavor. In addition, it looked like the drink has been rebranded, slightly to the point of changing the name and color to appeal more widely. Officially, it got released in stores in the United States on November 1st, 2021 for a limited time, sold in 12-packs, 16.9-ounce bottle multipacks, and 20-ounce bottles, staying until December 31st, 2021. Trivia This flavor appeared to be the second flavor that has a change of the color of the soda in its prototype stage. In the prototype stage, it looked to be a brownish-orange color, and it has later changed to a white color similar to White Out or the VooDEW flavors. The first flavor that first appeared to be is DEW-S-A that first had a dark purple tint and later changed to a light purple type. Its tagline got slightly changed also, from "DEW with a Blast of Natural & Artificial Gingerbread Flavor." to "DEW with a Blast of Artificial Gingerbread Flavor."
