It will fit the Ithaca period, early SKB Models 500, 600, 505, 605, 885 and Weatherby Over & Under. The wood is inletted for the first-generation type of attaching nut that was shaped like a “KEY-WAY” to prevent spinning. This style forend was originally used on the trap combo models. The nose is flat and the overall length of the forend is 10 ¼” . The Forend is in very good condition with some crazing noted in the finish. Also, there may be some surface scratches, scuffs and indentations from shipping, & storage. There are no structural cracks visible. The forend will require installation by a qualified gunsmith to ensure proper fit between the wood and metal piece to prevent cracking. It has never been installed on a shotgun.
