This is a Master Direction Indicator for the Bendix autopilot system, Type N-5, Bendix part number 12013-2K-L, with a serial number 6175E. This part was manufactured in 1955 for an order by the US Air Force. We have yet to link it to a specific aircraft of the USAF. This indicator has 3 calibration screws along each outside edge of the dial, as well as a calibration window on its top side. It is in exceptional condition given its age. The dial markings are clear and the glass and case are intact. Measures ~3.25 inches diameter and ~10 inches deep, and is 4 lbs.
