Bearings seem very tight and smooth. Spins up when air is supplied. I don"t know the RPM range. It has been sitting in a box in my garage for over 25 years. I don't think it has ever been used, no marks on the mount surface caused by the 4 bolts. Other than that I don't know of its operation sold as it. Includes a book Holes,Contours and Surfaces published by Moore Tools Bridgeport, Conn. Very informative covers operation, principals, techniques and grinding set ups. Over 400 pages.
