Atlas Craftsman Carriage Indicator Holder This item is a custom designed Atlas/Craftsman metal lathe indicator micro adjust stop. This is designed to magnetically connect to the flat bed on the lathe for easy placement and removal without needing any other tools. Once in place the set screw holds and allows for adjustment of the indicator stem (3/8") for optimum viewing angle. This allows you to do precision moves with the carriage to a depth for fine positioning for operations such as boring, threading, turning to length etc. This is made of 3D printed high grade plastic and uses 3 LONG rare earth magnets (cheaper models use several smaller magnets) for a strong attachment to a 3/8" (0.375") flat way bed with either an analog or digital indicator. Once in place the magnets prevent movement unless you really move it. This item comes in white, grey, black, or orange.
