Listed at 49.97 USD. >Offered here is an old and original 1961 EUGENE EMERALDS minor league team baseball photograph!! Please see all five photos, as they are an important part of my description. This black & white, semi-glossy vintage baseball photo (not a reproduction!) measures a large 14" x 11" on thicker paper stock. This rare photograph was issued courtesy of the Eugene Register-Guard daily newspaper here in town (as stated on photograph). The autographs that are present are facsimile signatures, printed onto the photo. Players, manager, etc. are all identified underneath the photo. The Eugene Emeralds played their games at now-defunct Bethel Park here in Eugene, Oregon. These Eugene Emeralds were a farm team for Major League Baseball's San Francisco Giants in 1961, and a member of the Northwest League (Class 'B'). The Ems were 69-70 that season. Players that are pictured include: George Nevins, Monty Tarrh, Jack Simmons, Stan Patykula, Don Carlson, Bill Hands, Bill Schoenrock, Lazaro Gomez, Mel Krause, Ron Phifer, Phil Jantze, Charlie Koss, JESUS ALOU, Roger Tomlinson, Bob Barton, Jack Blehm, Herb Raybourne, Hal Kunkel and Bob Beckner. Also pictured are ass't general manager Bob Morris, team manager Richard Klause, bat boy Chuck Mishler, press boy Kim Herzinger, field superintendent Hal Chase and ball boy Mike Humphrey. Condition: far from Near Mint, the photograph exhibits varying degrees of creasing and paper tweaks, but the photograph still displays nicely and is rarely found or offered!! There are no tack holes or tape marks present from prior display!
