A rare Aluminum pattern issue, only roughly six are known of the Judd with Plain Edge! Just two examples are finer, both PCGS MS65, making the present example a great opportunity. Reflective and lightly contrasted, the eye appeal is strong throughout, with nice details appreciable. The two hits in the right obverse field are likely the only thing holding the coin back from a loftier grade. Overall, a stellar example of the rare pattern issue!
