Although the machine's 40 GB IDE was working fine (I believe originally had a 3 or 4GB drive), it was very slow, so I put a 32GB SSD with an IDE adapter and a new OS 9.1 install. The mounting isn't ideal (double sided tape), especially since this bracket is broken, so if you have problems, check the seating.
