The transformer we sell is the newest style transformer direct from the factory; the number on this one is the Limoss ZB-A290020-B, and is used found on many manufacturers of lift chairs. The output end of the transformer takes the standard two (2) prong flat blade/round blade connector, and the power cord that goes to the wall is included with this part. This transformer has an emergency battery backup where two 9 volt batteries go (batteries not included) to get the chair back to a sitting position in case power goes out in the home. PLEASE NOTE: there are many other companies selling "knock off" transformers that look like this one, but made in third world countries with cheap materials that won't pass FCC regulations. There is an old saying that goes like this: "There is no limit to the number of products that are made a little worse and sold a little cheaper" and this certainly applies here. Because some of our competitors have lost their little minds, selling some of these cheap knock-offs for cost or below, I fully expect a really cheap version of this part to be sold someday for $5.00 each; however, I sure wouldn't want my mother or father sitting in front of one of these cheaper units.
