Check the listing for details. Replacement Leatherette Leather 8 Options for Argus C3 Standard - 3 Piece Back. Condition: New. Listed at 14.22 USD. Pre-Cut synthetic leather with a self adhesive back for the Argus C3 Standard cameras with a 3 piece back. Leatherette thickness of 0.4mm-0.5mm or approximately 18mil - 8 Color Options - A nice textured material that's very durable. Before applying - it is very important to remove the old glue / adhesive completely. You CANNOT put this on top of the old glue. Tips to help with old leatherette and glue removal: - Heat up the old leatherette a bit using a hair dryer - more of the glue will stay on the old leatherette. - Use nail polish remover (non-acetone) and a rag and/or q-tips to help scrape off the old glue. - Patience - sometimes (not always) it will take some time - but it can't be stressed enough how important it is to get the old glue off. Application tips: - Make sure everything is at room temperature. - Removing buttons, levers or memo holders may be needed for proper application. - One trick you can use is to spread a drop or two of hand sanitizer on the adhesive side - this will allow you to position the leatherette more easily - once the sanitizer evaporates the adhesive gets sticky again. - Tweezers or something else small will help to push it into the small nooks and crannies. - Occasionally on tight bends, you may need to add a drop of glue such as contact cement to ensure solid adhesion. - Once you're sure of the positioning press firmly to get the best adhesion - you may need to keep it pressed down for a minute while you wait for the hand sanitizer to evaporate. - Please let the camera sit for a couple days after finished - this helps everything to set.
