The 3411 exact replacement models are for replacement of specific De-Ice Sensor Controls, both Robertshaw and competitive devices.The Uni-Kit models include complete installation instructions, terminal cover and clip, terminating bulb mounting clip, bug filter, 36" plastic tubing, rubber grommets, and mounting nut. Exact replacement models include installation data sheet, terminal cover and clip only, using existing fittings and mounting hardware. The complete process of defrost initiation and termination is fully automatic, and is accomplished by the use of one signal control. Control monitors frost and ice build-up, or blockage due to leaves and other debris, by sensing pressure change at the outside coil. Control initiates coil defrost by turning off the outside fan motor and tripping the reversing valve to reverse the heat pump cycle. De-Ice Sensor terminates defrost cycle by sensing outside coil temperature. Usable on push through or pull through systems (vacuum or pressure).
