Check the listing for details. Sodium Silicate Solution 40% Key Instant Tightening Effect Ingredient Bags 1oz. Condition: New. Listed at 14.69 USD. Sodium Silicate Solution 40% 1 fl oz - 30 mlPlain, Natural Bottle with Blue Turret Top Dispenser Cap ModelSupplies is bringing this product at the request of several clients. This appears to be the key ingredient in an instant eye area tightening product that is shown everywhere almost constantly. Caveat: Please note this is a skin irritant! The other thing is that is will thicken your solution quickly and much more than you think. I have ruined a few batches of Delete Button Eye Gel trying to recreate that product! Very expensive testing for me, so I have all but given up. The natural alternative to this is probably Pephatight, which I much more recommend. The results with Pephatight are not as dramatic, but much safer all the way around. Sodium Silicate is often used for purposes like sealing leaks in basement walls. So you want it anyway.... Here are the specs:Sodium Silicate Solution Formula: Na2SiO3 • 9H2OFormula Wt.: 284.2CAS: 1344-09-8Health Risk: 2Flammability: 0Reactivity: 0Notes: Skin irritant, moderately toxic by ingestion; 40 to 42° Be; 40% aqueousSynonym: Water glassMass Percent: 40% Sodium silicate is stable in neutral and alkaline solutions. In acidic solutions, the silicate ion reacts with hydrogen ions to form silicic acid, which when heated and roasted forms silica gel, a hard, glassy substance. I can tell you that even one drop will have astounding affects on your formula. I would suggest testing it in water. It is sodium, so will be water soluble. **** If you are a chemist and using this for other purposes, please feel free to reach out and educate me ;-) Again, this is listed as a skin irritant, so please use utmost caution. Use at your own risk.
