Our Universal mobility scooter rear trunk mounting bracket is basically a 14-3/16" extension to your scooter's 1" rear accessory hitch with a welded steel platform that has been milled to accommodate a wide range of trunk cases, baskets, even plastic milk crates or boxes. When we call this "Universal" we mean it. Because different mobility scooter brands use different size accessory attachments, there are three adjustment holes along the square-tube shank; 3/16", 1/4", and 3/8" to mate up with the clevis pin or bolt holes on your accessory bar. The strong 6-3/4" x 4-3/4" milled steel platform sports a copious pattern of 10 elongated holes so just about any brand-name or aftermarket trunk, basket, or case will fit. We include three 1-1/2" long quick release pins with this bracket; one in each of the most commonly used diameters: 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8". You will probably only need one. Note: Because we have had these made to fit the widest possible range and variety of mobility scooter and power chair models, your scooter trunk or lock-box may fit close to the seat back, especially if you use the 3/16" attachment hole. If that is the case you might have to fold your seat back forward to raise the lid or top cover on your trunk or box.
