Listed here is an USAF US Air Force Lieutenant General Female Epaulet Soft Shoulder Boards Pair from the USAF Chief of Staff General Merrill McPeak Era for the shirt of Dress Blues Uniform Combination. These epaulets are new in their original packaging and their manufacturer is unknown. These soft shoulder marks were a product of USAF Chief of Staff General Merrill McPeak era from 1990 to 1994 and were issued and worn from 1993 to 1994 for general rank officers for their dress blue shirts. When General McPeak retired in 1994, these generals' soft shoulder boards were replaced the current ones used to date. Because of the very short period of issue and use, these US Air Force general officer ranks are extremely rare to come across in general (no pun intended!) and never mind brand new ones in their original packaging. Come and obtain these extremely rare and obsolete USAF general rank officers' insignia before they run out and would make a great addition to any militaria collection. These soft shoulder boards were found in my travels and is now being presented to the world through this eBay listing.
