Vintage IBM PS/2 Hardware Maintenance Service Kit: This listing is for a rare, IBM PS/2 maintenance kit, part number 64F4028. I started my IT career during the 1980's at Computerland. When IBM introduced the PS/2 line, as an IBM certified tech, I was given this hardware maintenance kit in order to service the complete PS/2 series. It has remained in my office until my recent retirement. This unique kit is in very good condition. The 3-ring binder, in IBM blue, measures 9.5" high x 6" across. It has a business card holder on the front (card not included), and has velcro pads that keep the binder closed when folded for transporting. It also includes the PS/2 product matrix booklet, along with several other technical and reference manuals. IBM provided "Reference" disks for each product. These were used for both configuration setup and factory troubleshooting. The accompanying manuals provided additional information used for technicians. Some manuals and reference disks may support multiple models. This set includes: - Model 25 Adv. Diags- Model 30 Adv. Diags - Model 30/286 Starter Disk- Model 55/65- Model 56/57 - Model 55sx- Model P70/386- Model P75/486- Model 70/80- Model 70/486 This is an essential tool for anyone that still works with PS/2 computers and peripherals, or someone wanting to own a unique piece of IBM history. Although the kit has always been stored in my office, I cannot guarantee the functionally of the diskettes due to their age.
