Vintage 1940s Starrett Series 124C solid rod inside micrometer set. Includes a micrometer head with 1/2" of travel, solid interchangeable rods, and spacing collars (one 1" and two 2") in original case, outer box, and wrenches. The set is complete and in great shape for its age. The last picture is of the note that was attached to a metal chest that held this set as well as other equipment that is also listed. It was stored with mothballs in the chest, and there is still some of that aroma attached to this piece. Please refer to pictures for additional condition details.
