Than you have a problem on the electrical side of compressor - not refrigerant side. 60% of the time the relay, overload & start capacitor go bad. If the overload is burnt more than likely there is an internal short in compressor and will trip a breaker. Then the compressor will need to be replaced. This 3 n' 1 is for 1/12 to 1/5 HP compressors - 115v. This 3 n' 1 Start is brand new from factory.Note: Not all compressors have a Start Capacitor which includes Tecumseh compressors.
